Recruiter

We are looking for a personable, process-oriented Recruiter to join our team!

The Recruiter works within the Communitas HR department, supporting the hiring and placement of staff for the organization by screening applicants, leading interviews, evaluating role fit, and deciding on placements; while assisting candidates through the application process. In addition, the recruiter provides guidance to senior leaders to ensure human resources policies, programs and procedures in these areas are compliant with legal/statutory requirements and Communitas policies/objectives.

Positions Available: 1 Full-Time (40 hours per week) position. 

Hours are worked in office, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

This is what we need from you:

• College level education in related field, Minimum of 4 years HR/office/administrative experience
• A philosophy of service that is in line with Communitas’ Vision, Mission and Values
• Excellent teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently without supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, pleasant telephone manner
• Excellent computer skills with experience in MS Word, Excel and graphics programs; proficient with internet and intranet use & communication
• Enthusiasm for matching people and their skills to a role
• Ability to work accurately and effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment, able to establish work priorities, effectively multi-task and balance varying demands
• Strong organization skills with attention to detail
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships by exercising tact and diplomacy while maintaining the highest levels of service and confidentiality
• Possession of class 5 BC driver’s license (asset)

Salary: support $28.16 - $31.16 hourly rate
