This permanent full-time position offers a blend of managerial and Work Coach responsibilities, with 34 hours per week dedicated to managing and leading Communitas Social Enterprises and 6 hours per week as a Work Coach. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership and oversee three social enterprises—CommCrew (landscape and property maintenance), Vehicle Maintenance (detailing and maintenance), and Janitorial Services—within the Fraser Valley region.
As a Work Coach, you will directly provide hands-on support with either landscaping services or vehicle maintenance services. You will also collaborate with the Employment Team Lead to ensure that work crew members receive comprehensive training and adhere to all safety protocols. Through these social enterprises, Communitas provides employment training opportunities for individuals facing mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, and acquired brain injuries. This position calls for a leader with both business acumen and a commitment to community values, who will not only manage current operations but also explore new entrepreneurial ventures with Communitas.

Here's what we need from you:
- A relevant college degree or two years of mid-level management experience is preferred
- A strong background in sales, marketing and ability to network and create business relationships
- A philosophy of service that is in line with Communitas’ Vision, Mission and Values
- Willingness to complete in-house Psychosocial Rehabilitation modules
- Familiar with and able to implement Psychosocial Rehabilitation principles fostering a belief in the recovery process
- Effectively use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- A strong penchant for creativity and the ability to take initiative
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships by exercising tact and diplomacy while maintaining the highest levels of service and confidentiality with the ability to observe, record and evaluate staff performance
- Ability to read and interpret financial statements and make effective operational decisions based on cost/sales ratios
- High energy and highly motivated with strong interpersonal, leadership, motivational and organizational skills
- Excellent teamwork skills as well as the ability to work independently without supervision
- Possession of a valid Class 4 BC driver’s license (Or willing and able to obtain one)
- Emergency First Aid Certificate with CPR

Salary:
- Work Coach (6 hrs/wk): $25.89 - $29.34/hr
- Manager (34 hrs/wk): $30.00 - $33.01/hr
